Have you ever thought of getting a Hair Transplantation? If yes, Read This.

Hair transplant surgery involves the moving of scalp hair and hair follicles from an area which has dense hair to an area with thinning hair or baldness. This technique gives a natural look on the forehead and on the top of the head.

What is FUE?

Follicular unit extraction (FUE) is a type of hair transplant surgery which involves the removal of individual hair follicles from a donor part of the body, usually the sides and back of the head.
These individual follicles are then implanted in the areas that are affected. Typically, with the men suffering from male pattern baldness this will be the classic horseshoe area.

How does FUE work?

During the process, individual follicles – typically between 1 and 4 hairs – are removed under local anesthesia. The extraction procedure utilizes a micro surgical extraction instrument, between 0.6mm and 1.0mm in diameter, to remove the follicles.

The surgeon will make use of specialist micro surgical needles to puncture the scalp area which is to receive the grafts. The surgeons will be experts at blending the hair in, inserting the grafts at an angle and density that matches the original hair, so it will resemble a natural and realistic hair pattern.

What is FUT?

Follicular unit transplant (FUT) is one of the traditional hair transplant methods in which a linear strip of hair bearing the skin from the side of the scalp is extracted. The strip will then be dissected into separate individual grafts.

                                            Before:

                                               After:

How does FUT Work?

This process involves the removal of a small strip of tissue from the back of the head, from which the donor hair follicles will be extracted. The hair follicles are then harvested from that strip by a skilled team of surgeons before being individually transplanted to the recipient areas. FUT is comparatively better than FUE because it allows for the greatest number of grafts to be transplanted in a single session.

Get Rid of Excess Fat with Liposuction

Liposuction which is also known as liposculpture, lipoplasty, lipo, or lipectomy is a kind of plastic or cosmetic surgery that breaks, sucks and remove extra fat from the body parts. The most common area used for liposuction are abdomen, thighs, chin, neck, upper and backs of the arms, buttocks, back, and calves. The extra fat in the body is removed by a hollow instrument, a cannula by inserting it under the skin. A powerful, high-pressure vacuum is put on the cannula for effective working. Liposuction is normally operated with the use of general anesthesia.  It is purely a cosmetic surgery which is not meant for a weight loss or obesity and its effects are subtle.

Liposuction is highly used for improving a person appearance and recommended only if a person did not achieve the desired results with strict diet, proper lifestyle and exercise. Liposuction reduces the percentage of fat cells in the isolated parts. It is good to discuss all the pros and cons of the liposuction with the doctor before deciding to operate as results are subtle.

Who Can Undergo Liposuction?

You are eligible for liposuction if: -

  • You have excess localised fat deposits that do not respond to exercise and diet control.
  • You have a good, elastic and firm skin and muscle tone
  • You are a non-smoker
  • You have specific goals for body contouring.

Liposuction Treatment And Recovery Process

The treatment of liposuction involves suction of excess fat from specific body areas. After the procedure is completed elastic bandages or compression garments are covered over the area of treatment. They help in compressing the body to suit the new contours and to avoid swelling of the wounds. Small drains are placed at the site of procedure to drain excess fluids as well.

Benefits of Liposuction

  • Improvement in the cellulite appearance or reduction of cellulite
  • Safe fat elimination
  • Improve health linked with fat loss
  • Improve individual appearance
  • Boost self-confidence and self esteem
The results of liposuction are quickly noticeable. The effects of liposuction are long lasting and do not return fat on those areas which are treated.

TLC Clinique, with centres at Trivandrum and Kollam, Kerala, India offers effective and quality liposuction and other body contouring treatments with a high degree of precision and accuracy.

Look Beautiful With The Help Of Cosmetic Surgery

Flawless perfection in beauty is often overrated. Every individual is unique in their own way. There are small imperfections in everyone. In some they are easily visible, in some they are not. You might have slightly lopsided ears or eyebrows, a torn or slightly wide earlobe, an ugly belly button and so on, that affects your confidence.

You do not have to worry about them anymore. The cosmetic surgery options available today are well equipped to deal with all these issues, that too with outstanding results. Some of the common cosmetic surgery procedures widely used today include earlobe surgery, otoplasty, umbilicoplasty and so on. They are discussed in detail here: -

Ear lobe surgery

Most girls are fans of gaudy long earrings, but constant use leads to drooping ear lobes with wide holes. Though some people enlarge their ear lobe holes intentionally with fashion trends like gauging, most do not find them attractive. Accidents, injuries or trauma can also result in ear lobe irregularities.
Ear lobe surgery is a cosmetic surgery procedure that is done to correct these irregularities, in such a way that they go back to their previous state and the irregularities are no longer visible.

Otoplasty

Ear surgery or otoplasty is done to correct position, shape and size of the ear. Otoplasty is usually done on those who have overly large or protruding ears in varying degrees at both sides. With the help of ear surgery, the ears can be made into an apt shape and size that is in proportion to the patient’s face.

Umbilicoplasty

Umbilicoplasty is more commonly called belly button surgery. It is a branch of cosmetic surgery that is done to beautify the appearance of navel or belly button. With latest trends in fashion, umbilicoplasty has gained a great deal of popularity.

Umbilicoplasty is also done in conjunction with tummy tuck or hernia repair surgery. Belly button surgery is done to achieve a small and vertical shaped belly button.

With advanced, world class infrastructure and treatment options, TLC Clinique offers cosmetic and hair restoration treatment procedures customised to suit the needs of the patient.

Reduce Fat Easily Without Surgery

Cryolipolysis is a nonsurgical technique to reduce fat. Instead of invasive methods such as liposuction, cryolipolysis is a promising method for Nonsurgical Body Contouring. With the help of cold energy, fat is reduced in this process.

http://tlcclinique.com/cryolipolysis

This procedure uses cryogenics (production and effect of low temperature) to stimulate lipolysis. It involves with controlled cooling point and targets the fatty area to reduce the fat deposits and reshape body contours. Without harming the overlying skin the cooling kills the fatty tissue.
With no incision and injection, the cooling is applied directly with the help of a device on the targeted area. Every session takes about 45-60 minutes depends on the fatty site. Depends on the number of site and amount of fat deposition the sessions will be carried out.

There are some limitations in the procedure. This process advises the patients with marginal fat loss and recommends the patients to adhere to strict diet and regular exercise to avoid further fat deposition. It is not said that this procedure will totally suck out the fat without your regular activities. In order to avoid complication by the procedure, the patient should choose a qualified surgeon to carry over the procedure smoothly.
  • A non-invasive alternative
  • Associated with negligible risk
  • Cost effective with quick healing
  • No scar is left
  • The fat reduction area remains tight
  • Results are quite visible within 48 hours of time
